How to adjust the microphone so that it works with Ellis.

1. Make sure that cables are plugged in properly from the computer to the multimedia monitor
2. Double click on the speaker icon located on the task bar.

3.Click on Options -> Properties and make sure that Microphone is checked and click OK.

4. Click on Options -> Advanced controls to make the Advanced button show up and click Advanced button.

5. Make sure that +20db Gain is checked and click Close.

6. Click on Options -> Properties. Check recording and click OK.

7. Make sure that the microphone volume is set at about half way and close window.

The microphone should be set now, you can now try Ellis to see if it records your voice.
