Global user account

Each workstation at each site needs to logon to a Windows NT domain in order to utilize network resources such as printing services and to access to network based software such as Instructional Systems software or Ellis software. In order to gain access to the Windows NT domain a default user account had been created called "Global". The "User name:" does not have a password just press "Enter" or click "OK". Please note your "Domain:" name, it varies from site to site.


The logon process takes a few seconds to complete, there will be a DOS type of window visible with a blue grid lines. The logon script creates network drive mappings to the file server which are imperative for proper functionality of the network based software, without these drive mapping software will not function.
